A
The main difference between the DC ballast and HID ballast exchange
DC and AC output HID HID, what are the main differences
1. Less MOS transistor 4, and a control circuit portion is simplified, the cost can be reduced.
2. DC ballast, the output is DC, without conversion, while four MOS, demanding for the same parameter, and if not, it is easy to burn, so relatively speaking, the failure rate is reduced.
3. DC ballast, DC bulb to meet the need, if AC lamp which is easy to burn;
4. DC ballast, not easily broken, but relatively speaking bulb life will be shorter;
5. DC ballast, currently there is a problem to be solved is: In the lighting process, the flicker is no short-term solution, and the industry needs to be resolved;
Some early HID xenon lamp with DC, but their HID xenon lamp life is short. This is because in the case of direct current, a positive electrode of a high speed continuous ion bombardment, a long time, causing the ignition electrode erosion. This has resulted in significantly reduced electrode life. With alternating current, high-speed positive ion bombardment even two electrodes, virtually doubling the life of HID xenon lamp. Another advantage is that the temperature of the electrodes when the AC temperature is lower, because the transformation of yin and yang about 400 times per second electrode (anode DC one electrode is always), so that the two electrodes in turn act as heat instead of an anode electrode persistent fever. The good news is that the AC arc is easier to maintain.
